there are no bins at the northern break way at all
-
gates closed at 7pm and open 6-7am
45 min walk to breakway. 10 mins on bicycle eheh

the gates close at 7pm, so anytime after u have to park all the way outside, crawl under a fence, pass another fence and walk abt 30-45 mins
its a pain! not so packed anymore thats one good thing to come out of it..

port kembla is relatively safe, the break water way with the light on that is, cant get swept off there :/ and when its swelling, and heaps windy
ur not gonna catch anything mate
pack up ur bags, go home and enjoy a few vbs

hi all new to the forums
i've been fishing mainly at port kembla after they start closing the gates at 7pm its too much of a hassle walking 45 mins in and another 45 mins out
so ive been meaning to do some fishing at lane cove river
need some advice on what species i might find there
what bait to use, hooks, fishing technique, what time to fish etc as i mainly fish off the rocks
thanks in advance and advice is very appreciated.
sincerely
Ryan.

as long as the water isnt choppy and windy, you'll get bites
if its heaps windy and rough seas, dont even bother
