So this year you might get a good prawn run . The Shoalhaven River is in flood at the moment & the mouth of ShoalHaven Heads is now open.

I fish the Basin on a Regular basis & looks like to me will take a Long time to come good.

I Live at Callala Bay So JB should be ok in a couple of days With the big shift of water & no Rivers as such feeding it.

So when your down in November All should be going Great Guns ( Hope )

Zacnoel has given you some good places & advice

    Cheers Tom

1 Just on Size By Andrew He sent it back , then all we could find was

Sargent Baker in the 2 to 3Kg range Big buggers ....

Made a move back in the port, worked the flats & the deep water off Lilli Pilly

All quite for us.There was Plenty of bait fish around.

  6. Did you happen to connect the electric motor to the battery in reverse polarity? That will make it run in reverse.

G/Day Billfisher thanks for your advice ,,,checked the polarity looks ok .. so back to the dealer.

    Cheers

  7. Launched my new long awaited boat Stacer 4.89 Nomad fitted with a 60HP Honda Picked it up last Tuesday

So put her in At the Georges River for a motor run in, so a slow run to the Bay

as Per instructions, 30min low Revs 45 Med Revs Etc All went very well. Got to the Bridges

in the cold wet weather Sure can pick them .... Decided to switch on the pump to check to see

if the Live bait tank was filling Ok .. Whoops looked at the pump in the bilge area to see a steady

dripping coming into the boat, Then switched to the front plumbed live well and noticed as stream of water

comming from a split in the feeder Hose DoH! Ok not a big problem all can be fixed.

headed out to the Bay Pretty dirty weather but a good test. Turned around and headed back to Woollaware bay for

a Flatty spin , Dropped down my NEW I Pilot Minn Kota and to my suprise found it was running in reverse WTF!!! :ranting2:

So a call to the dealer is required tomorrow to explain the problems and give him the opportunity to rectify these issues.

After all i was very pleased with the ride and dryness. All in All Love the new boat.

    Cheers Tom
