Hi Raiders,
have been fishing the bay for ages and lately getting nothing as usual. A couple of weeks ago managed to break the duck and landed the only legal fish of the day it went 87 cm on the fisheries measuring sticker.
There was indication of a hit just a solid weight when i lifted the rod i thought i was snagged until i felt a shake and it slowly moved a bit I thought it was ray at first it did not really struggle until it was near the boat and then it went for a short sprint after a couple of minutes it was in the net and a few pics on the phone it was back over the side to hopefully live for a few more years.

i bet you've lost a few fish on that measuring sticker. my mate has the same setup with the same sticker..... now he has 2 stickers, one side next to the carpet! -

mate my mum makes fish cakes.. next time you get some bring em over and ill get em fried up quick smart for a slow session.
