Went out monday night for jews, caught some live squid and headed out with my livie tank in the back of my van to try and get some nice jewies. Got to the spot at abt 11pm, i sent out my usual 3 beach rods and waited i changed my baits at abt 12 as the pickers "prob bream" decided to smash my jew baits. I was hungry so had some food i packed from home and just relaxed till abt 130am when i noticed there started to be a lot more action ie the rod tips were bouncing everywere. Then some time later i got a big run zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz so i picked up my rod and set the hooks but i realised this fish wasnt ready to come in, i was worried a bit bcos my line was only 20 pounds and needed replacing lol haha after abt 3 or 4 runs i eventually saw this nice silver image coming towards me as he was tired and given up the fight It was a nice solid fat Jew that weighed in at 5kg and measered at 90cm i had a smile from ear to ear i fished for another hour then decided to call it a night.
