I was out fishing on Monday, yes Monday off The Entrance NSW and had the video going, when i was veiwing it last night i thought we say a dolphin, but after pausing it and taking a snap shot of the screen, its no dolphin can any help in the ID of this pic. Hi All, I went looking for yakkas today in the usual places on the Central Coast but had no luck after 2 hours. My only thoughts are that last weeks rain has something to do we them hiding. Did anyone else has the same problem this weekend. Cheers.

Hi All,

My Daughter wanted to fish this years challange, so i had my leave pass organised so i entered her in the comp and she showed me up as usual.

Fishing with Pink Nippers she landed this 42.5cm Whiting from Brisbane Waters. She was a bit disapointed when we had to let it go , but i said them the rules. So yep the leave pass is organised this weekend and going to try and catch a feed.

i went on one of the skinny little fishing boats which i would recommend. Me and a mate basically joined a fisherman on his little outrigger boat and learnt how simple fishing can be or moreso how much our fancy gear can complicate things. We spent the day trolling and chasing congregating schools (watching the forming birds) and it only cost me $50Au. He (the driver) would pretty much take us for however long but we turned in pretty early as my mate was extremely hung over.

the ferry wharf and the wharf around the netted off pool at Woy Woy is a good safe spot to catch squid after dark or even the wharf at Patonga is good and safe for the kids

Any of the public wharfs around the rip bridge or Empire Bay. You can find the wharfs in the street directory.Try as the tide is coming inn an just before dusk. I've caught squid throughout that area.
