  1. HELLO CHAPS.

Going to leave  the boat in the water for 4 days up at Forster.Do you leave the engine down so its full of water and stoping the air getting in or do you lift it up so the water drains out but air gets in to help start the corrosion.

    Cheers.

  2. I think QLD just have more passion and pride in wearing the jumper. Before the game you can see QLD jumping out of their skins in the warm up area in the change rooms while NSW just sort of walk around looking lost.I cant see NSW wining in the near future.NSW need to bring in some of the old timers in to camp to fire them up and talk about the history of the game.QLD always talk about Arthur Beetson and Wally Lewis, who do NSW talk about?????

  3. Buy a second smaller battery..trade price for say a SMF43 is only $70.00.Buy two Anderson plugs at $10.00 each.Wire up both Batteries so they have the Anderson plugs on 30-40 cm of cable. When you go fishing grab the smaller one off the trickle charger and chuck it in the boat.If the main one does go flat just connect the two Anderson plugs and start up.Done it for years with no problems.

    Regards Stu.

  4. A deep cycle battery needs to be charged and discharged to work correctly, not left to a Alternator to constantly charge.I would charge both and rig up a spare jump cable using Anderson plugs so if you can jump start from the Deep cycle .

  5. Sorry just re read your last post and I noticed you put your spare hub and bearings on and still had the same fault. In that case then it has to be a worn axle and one of the bearings is slipping.Try sliding your old inner and outer races back onto the axle to make sure they have a tight fit and not just flopping around.

  6. I purchased this Squid jig the other day and it should be a little ripper...

    Egi Pro..........So its for professionals

With ...wait for it...Thrust Dart Drive..

What a load of Bollocks...it was a nice color though.

  7. I broke the top section off on my Shimano two peice 6-8kg Snapper rod on the weekend. So I phoned head office in Carringbah on Monday to try to order a top section, only to be told that they don't make this rod any more and it was a special line for that Big camping store{you all know the one}.Now the nice old bloke told me that if I took my busted rod to the Big camping store and told them to phone him he would arrange a new rod at half price. The Big camping store was a little skeptical at first but in the end they phoned him up and he was good to his word and I now have a nice new shiny rod to play with on the weekend at half price.

Well done Shimano and the Big camping store.

    Thanks Stu.
