  1. post-1451-1213252682_thumb.jpgGuys,

didnt know where to post this.....so....

Can anyone help. Seems the layout has change for me for some reason.

Now instead of viewing the whole thread....i have to individually click on each reply to view it.

    Driving me insane.

Will try post a pic of what i'm talking about.

  2. Do you guys know how the PS3 finds a server for network games? Is it based on where the game is purchased or where your PS3 is located by ISP or system settings?

Eg. I'm going to buy metal gear in Hong Kong but i got my PS3 here. I can't wait for the online version is up and ready but i would hate to connect to asia to play, that would guarantee death all the time.

Depends on how the game set's it up and it's "gaming server". Some games let's you choose your region with the best connection. Some matchmake you with the best available server. eg Call Of Duty 4 doesnt let you choose your region, just (matchmake) connect you to whatever's available be it EU, US, OZ etc etc. Whilst other games have a better lobby system where you can choose which server you want to connect to.

I get alot of my games form HK as well as it's much cheaper over there. You shouldn't have any problems. You should still check forums etc regarding this matter but the only problem I can see is downloading content as some of it might region based. Like the map pack for COD4 which had compatability issues with the map patch bought from OZ but the game was purchased from the US. Didnt work.

    Hope this makes sense.

  3. Can be done mate, used to chuck 12" plastics with my mates off the container wall. Got smashed a couple of times but have never landed one.....yet. (I'm optimistic)

Ps- Just be mindful that they lock the gates at sunset and re-open at sunrise.

  4. Thanks IkanBilis and Sammy0884. Because I know you both are (more than likely) highly intelligent, honest and respectable :1prop: I can now assume that I was correct and it is a tarwhine.

    :yahoo:

    Cheers

    Peter

PS Your cheques are in the mail

No worries. And u assumed right.....bout the tarwhine anyways...not sure bout the inteligent, honest and respectable ....must be referring to Sammy. :1prop:

Always thought it's the shape of the head is what sets a bream and tarwhine apart. Tarwhine's got a much rounder head.

  5. I've got a Toshiba. It's not bad. Prefer it over a Dell.

Honestly, I'd get a Mac (Got my toshiba for free so can't complain)

As Mark said, it runs on Core 2 Duo which means you can install Windows on it.

Sent you a pm too..... :1prop:

  6. I believe that the place has shut down. Well the fishing pond anyways. I was there about 2 years ago and caught a couple of Cod's and silver perch. Was fun, shame it's closed tho (last time i checked anyways).

  8. Guys,

Was wondering if anyone can provide some information regarding Mona Vale or the northern beaches.

I'm looking at fishing the rocks next week sometime and was wondering if anyone can advise me of the safest time to fish Mona Vale in regards to swell wind etc etc.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  10. Hi,

Thinking of heading out on the weekend to have a land based sesh at spinning some Raiders and using my new outfit. :biggrin2:

Planning to fish Botany Bay and in the past have only ever fished there once.

Was wondering if anyone can provide some general advice on where to fish around that area?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
