  1. What a ripper day. I cant thank and recommend the boys from Reef Magic enough. To have a 5 way hook up and land 4 was nothing short of a miracle, if it weren't for the guidance and enthusiasm of Dave and the Brilliance of our skipper Mick we would have never got em in.. Well Done Boys

  2. Why do they call it The Car Park? lol

Use the boat ramp at little beach and head out SE 24 miles to 33.02 - 152.26 in 80 fathoms, jig the bait up and the marlin will come. We counted 97 boats out there on Sunday, ranging from a 3.8 savage with a 40 hp tiller steer to 70 foot game boats. Goodluck

  3. Awesome fish mate!

Anything else on offer down there? I love the banks! Thinking of heading down in the next couple of weeks.

i spoke to a mate down there he said the got a few blacks drifting slimeys on the north eastern corner

  4. Hi Mate

Awesome fish. I got a picture of your fish sent to me via text on Friday. Couldn't believe the size of that beast. Congratulations on the capture. I'm still chasing one.

    Chris

    who sent it to you?

  5. Yeah on a skirt, i think i should have left him out there a little longer he was gaffed a little green, when i got him to the boat he took a run under the boat and smashed the live bait pump, then bent the hell out of the gaff, then as soon as he was in the boat he head butted me on the inside of my left ankle and bruised me up "lesson learned"

  6. Hi all, just spent a couple of days down south on the most amazing reef system i have seen "The Banks" just before Jarvis Bay and had a great time.

  7. Hi all,

Before i start i would like to thank, browney1,Robofish,Slink & rads. last week i asked for some advise on where and how to to fish at Long Reef and i must tell you all i wasn't disappointed. we started at Balmoral around 5.30 am collected some live bait & headed up. we tried a few reefs around the area for some Reds but no luck only a few small fish and assorted reef species. so around 8.30 we went to the back of the point on the north side and threw out some halco divers for kings. what can i say for the next 3 hours we were getting nailed one after the other all between 55cm to 65 but still a lot of fun even thought we threw them all back. We then went to Dee why wide. i caught a rock cod, as i got it to the boat i saw a shadow come past the fish. my initial thoughts were a shark but it the darted towards the rock cod and i started yelling like an idiot to my mate to grab me a jig from my bag. it was the biggest squid i have ever seen and i tell ya it was amazing to see in action. after that we headed back to the king ground we had so much success earlier and dropped the Yakkas they were got smashed. We only managed 4 keepers the best was only 75cm but what a fantastic day!! post-15340-048043500 1295334364_thumb.jpgpost-15340-041107800 1295334379_thumb.jpg
