    Pairing reel

    I'm the luckiest father today I received my early father's day present a daiwa exsist 2500   loaded with 12lb siglon braid. Now the hard part I  don't know what rod to match it with I have a budget of $250-$600. Looking at  2-4kg  this combo will  mainly be used for bass, trout well mostly fresh water. Any one have advice on what rod I should pair with this beautiful looking reel

    Hi fab, I have strip lights in mine that are dimable and colour selectable. I can select between red and white. Strips are all concealed and pointed towards deck.     I was lucky that mine are all glued on and have survived a season on water.

    Rollers vs sliders

    What's the best for a trailer that will be carrying and 5.2m Formosa boat. Are sliders the way to go or go with the rollers? Is there any difference in them?

    Hot squidding session

    Hi all haven't posted on here for a ages so I thought I'd share one of the hottest squidding sessions I've ever had. The day started late due to me and my mate sleeping in after we decided to get out asses into gear we headed out it was after 9.30 when we were on the water. At one stage we we're catching squid after squid on 3 rods that was interesting to say the least trying to land them between 2 people.     Shimano knobs

    BBQ Flathead

    Here is a really simple but very tasty recipe that my wife created all you need is some fresh fillets skinned and deboned.

    Grab some butter, crushed garlic (in a jar), and sweet chili sauce. Mix up some butter and garlic once that is all mixed in well add chili sauce mix in well then grab some aluminum foil then cook it on the BBQ

    Sea-Rod Formosa

    My dad is in the process of buying a sea rod boat by Formosa it's a 520 runabout I've got some questions to anyone who has had experience with these boats. Is the shape and depth of the hull on the delux the same as the off shore? How is the deluxe in the ocean compared to the offshore? Also is the Honda 100hp motor good for the deluxe? I'm just wanting to know if I should go for the offshore as that's what I'll be doing a lot of

    Downrigger set up

    We just bought dad a downrigger for Father's Day and now we are wondering where to position it. I got a few pictures of where we would like it I want to get some feed back from you guys. Also can some one give a picture of how you set up a down rigger. Thanks for any help guys

    I am just looking at one of these for a backup unit seeing I have a hole in the dash to fill. Could I ask how you find the unit overall. I read a review that says they are easy to use and all menus pop up from the central dial. If you google the unit I think the review and explanation where on a Fishing World Magazine blog.

    They are a very nice unit I recommend you get one

    Doesany one here know how to adjust the settings in one of these machines we are wanting to change the display to make it so we can see when a big fish appears at this time all we can see is the baitfish thats about it. Also how do I add gps marks on there having a hard time to add them. Thanks for any help I really appreciate it

    Squid setup

    What is the best way to rig up a squid set up using a paternoster rig like gap between sinker and bottom and the top jig and length used for your jigs? Also is it good to use a squid spike in there also? Thanks for any help
