    Over charging

    Can anyone tell me what would cause my motor to overcharge when i open up the motor to get to plane, was watching my sounder and the battery went from 12.6 up to 15.5 when i throttled up ???????? don't know why will be putting in for a service but thought i'd ask on here for any info Ta

    Good to see you made it out EmptyHooks didn't get to the Hawkesbury like planed got a call late on sat saying to meet at Botany Bay for a day out so thats where i ended up with another 4 fisho's in 2 boats. (got a donut as well but a great day out) will no doubt see you out there in the near future.

    Think i might try the Hacking next just need a few spots to try in there, have done the Hawksbury , Syd Harbour, botany bay yeah Hacking next anyone give me some info on area's in that system please ???????????????.

    Thanks i actually got out there yesterday had a drop around the 3rd runway for about 2hrs caught a donut, then moved to the famous Molly point and it was just like people said nice and calm with little to no swell and no fish. Ah well at least i got there and will go again even if i don't get anything, anyway left about 1pm as was starting to get choppy but all in all was still a nice day.

    Can anyone tell me where the best area in botany bay is for a first timer there ???? have a small Eagle fishfinder on board but no GPS will just be out for fun but would love to catch something decent to show off to the midgets. THANKS

    Had a day out LB at greenwich at the sailing club today, this place normally has a mixed bag but for some reason lately have gotten nothing !!!, have seen some big catches there (not me) Kingies and Jews bit nothing remotely close for some time. Anyone have any ideas on the area or have the fish change their diet there.

    Becareful out there if a decent southerly picks up,can be hairy :1yikes:

    Well didn't get out after all today so have planed for Monday morning instead while all others are at work, will watch out for the southerly only two of us going so might just keep it to a couple of hours in the morning and get out before lunch or move over to the runways for a bit of protection ???.

    mate all you have to do is look in the ubd street directory, page 296 and all will be revealed.

    Thanks eveyone will be out there on friday morning and looks like i got it right high tide at 9am so 3hrs up and 3hrs down just might get lucky.

    If you try using the search function on our forum you will find hundreds of posts about the locations you've asked about, it's like an encyclopaedia at times with so much information already at hand by just searching this great forum.

    Gday, the best thing to do when you dont know where to fish is get some good bait and drift different areas and see what you come across. Alternatively just pick somewhere you think(using general fishing knowledge)might hold fish, burley hard and be patient.

    Thanks mate will try it on Sun i'm going to botany bay for the first time so will have some fun i have a cheap fish finder so will try and find something decent to have a play with.
