I've just picked up a few of these weed flys to try (under a float rig though) & was wondering, wouldn't you still need real weed to burley them into the area?

Plenty of light from the street lights along the boat shed wall. Gets pretty busy with people there too so you should be safe...
ETA: Just don't park or stand under the trees there. Those birds sh!t everywhere lol -

Hargreaves goes head hunting in every game...
I HATE him & James Maloney. Maloney is a dead set grub too. He has taken off players shoes in a tackle and thrown them into the crowd. Pulled hair, eye gouged, head butted, elbowed etc. Typical Gooster!!! -

This was an old thread back to 2005 (six years ago)and strange someone post reply to it recently. But quite interesting that mudcrab can be found in Bobbin Head. May give a try next time.
Cheers Phil
A mates girlfriend caught a huge Muddy on a handline with prawn bait off the Apple Tree Bay boat ramp one night.
She thought it was a snag at first & started tugging at it, luckily when she did that the crab got tangled up in the line. I swear it's claws were bigger then my hands and almost twice as wide. Just the claws would have been a decent feed for 1 person lol...
