Hey guys long time reader first time reporting. Went to Tempe today for a fish under the train rails. Didn't catch anything legal but I have seen the water boiling, but it was a bit too far to cast into the boil. Have anyone else fishes there often? What do you get around there ? I heard u get jewies

Jimmy's beach on the northern side for whiting. Dusk at the sand spit near the entrance will see you catching dozens of 40cm fish on live worms.
Thanks for the info I'll give it ago. Will be using poppers

what fishes are there at mainbar?
-
if the yakka is really small, you cant really bridle rig it, so you can hook either infront of the top fin or on its bum.
when bridle rigging, i like to use a short shanked live bait hook that way the hook will not go to the fish's eye even if the fish has been in the water for a long time.

ive caught or seen caught slimies in the hacking where ever the yakkas are but u need to pick the right time of year ive never really targeted slimies so i cant tell u what months are better but about 2-3 months ago we fished around 100m off the port hacking heads and it was constant slimie after another in 20 foot of water a mate chucked one out alive on the surface it only a head came back lol
would you be able to provide some GPS marks for where you caught ur slimies?

I would also love to know where you can get whiting land based at port.

I was out fishing in the lake today and was amazed to see a seal swim past then hang around for half an hour or so playing around near the chanel markers at the drop off. Has anyone else seen seals in the lake, this was a first for me, have fished the area for the last 5 years or so.
i have seen a seal at botany bay at la pa.

maroubra is a really good spot for beach fishing. Also the rocks at the north end is pretty safe.

Never seen a glow in the dark bream. The water there is pretty polluted. But it goes to botany bay. I wonder if the bay is polluted too
