After a late call took the missus and youngest son out for boating/fishing around Botany Bay. Got to Port
Botany ramp around 9.30am and turned away due to car park being full. Plan B was Cooks River and all good.
Launched boat and headed out to flatty grounds off Maroubra.
Landed at least 30-40 flatties. All around 20-30cm.All obviously released.
Trolled a lure on the way back and picked up a bonito just at the heads around 50cm for sashimi.
Also I keeper flounder off Mollinou.
Pretty crappy fishing but nice day to be out.
Not worth taking picks.
Sound like we had a better day than others.

Gday guys and girls.
Had a day off so went up to snapper point to have a fish from the stones.. When i arrived i had a chat with 3 guys who had been there all night and caught one legal tailor and a few smaller kings etc.
Continued around the corner to the point i decided to fish and had a good time for a few hours. Caught 1 legal black drummer and a few undersized mixed bag. When i packed up to walk back to the car i noticed all the guys had left and there was rubbish, line, maccas bags and general crap everywhere. I decided i couldn't leave it like that cos it would blow straight into the water so i spent a good 15 minutes cleaning up all the scattered rubbish. Cannot believe that people who clearly love the sport enough to put that much time into it would not give a stuff..
Would love to name and shame them but unfortunately do not know them.. If they were raiders you should be disgusted in yourselves.
On a lighter note, have a merry xmas, safe travels and lots of tight lines.

By any chance did you drive down to the ramp at 430-5, and then turn around???
No mate.
Was at home staring out the window cursing.
Did get out on Friday.
Was out of Anna bay in 75mtrs and got some nice nannygai for a feed.
Not much else.

I was up at Salamander bay last weekend and planned to go out with my bro on Saturday. Up at 3.30am, wind howling and pissing down so went back to bed.
Glad I did now Scratchie.
Weather cleared up around lunch so took the kids and wives out for a great day on the water.
Magic part of the world.
Will be up there this Christmas for a few weeks might catch up.

Hi raiders

I have caught a few out of Port Stephens but not off Sydney.

I've never met a greeny that is against rec fishing but that's just luck.
Plenty of red neck greenies out there.

First class feed. Good going.

You could try Molineaux Pt for trevally. Burley hard and you should get onto them. Good chance of bream or flaties as well.
