I also got hammered by the Jackets Sat morn, between Garie and Marley.

I did notice that the Jackets were alot bigger than normal, all around the 45cm Mark.

+1 i swear by tailor for jew there! Try the overhead pipe. Its your best shot at a jew in the area!

Dont know the area but everytime i have caught a jew (6) there has been plenty of small tailor about.

Yeah forgot about attending the boat show.

The problem with that is the advice comes from a sales rep who has a vested interest.

I am after advice from people who use their products and do not have a Bias opinion.

(Beyong Holden/Ford or Furuno/Lowrance)

Hi All

Just getting back in to fishing after a few years off due to work and Uni, and the old sounder has died, not that it was up to scratch.

Looking at a new sounder and need some advice.

Can anyone explain which transducer etc is needed for deep water offshore use?

(Out and around Browns)

Been looking at the Lowrance HDS7,8 & 10 however the 8&10 are a bit more than i would like to spend.

Which sounder and correct equipment do i need?
