The Blakes are the most honest people in the boat game. Service is excelent and water tested in the river after the service.

My boat is a Quintrex Sea Raider 5.75mt with a 90hp Evinrude. After a long search to suit my needs and the family days out this has worked out to be the excelent choice. The boat is now 12years old and never caused a problem.
It can comfortly sleep 2 people for those all weekend comps and has plenty of room for fishing, at times it has handled 4 people who fished without any tangles. I put a rear lounge in that can easily be removed when the family are not aboard.
There is enough power to water ski 1 adult with 5 on board.
All the gest in your hunt

The one that I use is 'Inox'. Good for reels and outboard motors because it will not cause damage to lines or rubber. Not to be sprayed onto reel clutch.

4 months ago I caught a 5kg snapper on the reef that is about 6 to 8 kilometers direct east of th Shellhabour ramp. Illawarra has some great fishing grounds.

You will have a great time on the lake at Narooma.
Plenty of bream spots and not many boats screaming around to upset your fishing.
Have a great time

Yes Harvey, have a look at Minnamurra River. This is a good spot for fishing and nippers and there are protected spots from most winds. Set a couple of crab traps for entrees before the main meal.
Best of luck

I have just read the story about stingray stings in THE BAR forum.
This item is a MUST READ for everybody, especally the people who paddle around in the shallows.

After being stung by a red rock cod I always have a thermos of hot water onboard. Even that I have been very carefull not to get stung since that hot water is always in the boat.
Try and be sting free

I fill my outside fishing times as an Amateur Boxing referee which includes all of Australia and the Oceana region. Then in winter I squeeze in Golden Oldies Rugby Union games as much as posible. We will be looking for some players next season, so any interested Raiders can contact me and then you can enjoy a real safe and fun times. The only time that you can get hurt is when you get caught for a shout.
Keep the body parts moving and it slows down age.

Mate nearly everytime that I get my boat in the water the bloody wind arrives, as a matter of fact my car rego plates are WW and my mates reckon that it means WIND WARNING.
The best job in the world is guessing the weather.
Anyhow you soon get used to the conditions and enjoy the better times.

I have shopped there many times and I never knew of their club. I will be joining the club as soon as posible so I will be notified for future nights. I even printed the signs out front of the shop and still did not know.
They must be very popular nights as this is completely booked out early.

I stand my rods up and give them a good light spray with the hose then clean the bait residue off with WD40 followed with a good wipe over the rod and grips. I have been told that kerosene has no effect on distracting fish. The same tackle shop owner reckons that the anglers in Victoria soak their bait in it to catch snapper.

The Western Suburbs Leagues Club have a fantastic lodge at Cullburah (Orient Point) and the cost is $11 a night + $2 cleaning fees for members of the Leagues Fishing club. It is situated a very short distance to ether ramp in the river or at Orient Point. Always a good time is had even if there is plenty of fish or no fish because there is a free bus service to and from the Bowling Club

Minnamurra is just before Kiama and it has many little branches to explore. The best of this spot , there is not many yahoos tearing around.
I was using pillies and fresh prawns for bait with a burlly of bread, crushed prawn heads (from tea time) & tuna oil.

Had a great morning at Minimarra River to-day. Fished just past the red marker and brought into the boat 3 flathead up to 2.5kg each and 2 Bream up to 1kg each. At last I can say to my wife 'See thats why I need all of these rods"

Kiama 70 Fathoms
in Fishing Reports
Posted
Fished off a charter boat on Sunday and fished a reef at 70 fathoms for a great result. All 10 on board caught buckets of fiish with the main catch being enormous size leather jackets and the occasional flathead comming on board to a loud cheer. By 1.30pm the jackets got smaller and attacked the bait before it reached the bottom and bit the leaders off so we packed up and returned back to port.
I have not been a lover of charter boats but this one was spot on for comfort and friendlyness from the skipper. The price included tea/coffee at any time required, then barbequed sausage sandwiches for lunch
even down to a digital TV for anyone who wanted a rest from cranking up the fish.
A great day was had by all.
