  1. Hi everyone. I'm looking to upgrade from a two man canoe to a single man. But have trouble making my mind up about if I should go for a sit in or sit on. I fish manly in rivers for bass but looking at going in dams as well for next season. What are your thoughts and my budget is $1000,00

    Cheers Neil

  2. Went up to Lyell on the weekend to wet a line. Hadn't been there for about a year. Was using worms as bait and ended up with a 33cm rainbow and a 29cm bass. Both were fat fish. I did see a few other guys bring in some 50cm rainbows. Looking forward to getting back there real soon with out the family lol as the fishing is heating up. The dam was at 98% for those wanting to know.

    Cheers Neil

  3. My mate and i went down to my local to wet a line. Got there in the dark and had half hour in the dark on the water. My mate got 1 30cm bass and the day was looking good.Lost count of at the hits in the dark. As the sun came up it slowed down and many different lures hit the water. We were about a a k up the river and the hits started again then the hook ups. al rats but we were landing them. Al up 15 got landed and returned and a fun few hours on the water

  4. Hi everyone just letting you know about Danjera Dam. I'll start with the road in witch is dirt and you could get stuck in the if the weather is really wet.

Do not take a low clearance car down there. Camp site. It has 2 main sites. The 1st one is the smallest and has long drop toilets.

The 2nd camp site is the better one as it is closer to the water and has flushing toilets. There is wood around for fires but would bring some of your own.

If you have kayak or car topper there's a place to put them in and leave them on the bank if you're there for a few days. I didn't get to see a lot of the dam

but what I did was A1.

I was going down there for two nights with the family but the heat was out of control on Friday and had problems with my fridge. So only stayed for one night.

Didn't get to go fishing as the kids didn't cope with the heat to well. I will be definitely be going back many more times when not as hot, as it is a cracking

place to go with a lot of fishing to be done.

    Hope this helps everyone

    cheers

    Neil
