[Wide Off Sydney, Sunday 30th Dec]

Went out of Sydney yesterday, Slimies were a no show after spending an hour chasing, hit 12 mile for a desert with nothing showing, hit the shelf NE and trolled with Beakie spread out just east of shelf line in 22 deg water about 12ks north of Bait Station before turning East and then south travelling 8ks outside shelf line in fabulous 23.2 deg water , no bait or bird activity but water looking so promising, NE winds came up about 2pm as predicted by Sea Breeze on way back, found a Private Fad wide which held 250mm kingies and same at wave rider, great day out, no prize but always next time. launch at ATB at 4pm.going into jerusalem bay my sounder was'nt working properly,so i anchored near these other boats near the mouth of pinta bay.started a burly trail before you know it's like a car park.my cousin caught 1squid droped 3,but no haires may be next time ,left at 10 got to the boat ramp and looked at the sounder and it was pointing up i must of hit a stick on the way out .did anyone catch any haires ?

Went out with my Cousin and Uncle,got to the ramp just after five,we were meeting shadow at the spit.Got to the fad saw surface fish jumping everwhere.Grabed my rod to flick some plastics just about to cast and my cousin said he had no gears .First time out after a service from ------ not quiet shore if i can mention the dealer name from Blacktown.We found out it was the gear selector was'nt tightened,after 1/2 hour cursing the dealer we were up and runing.My first cast on my bream outfit i was on my first dollie .Lost two more near the boat Just about to go and i got one more. Cus caught three and Uncle got two.On the way in i threw out a pink skirt out and a short time latter my 6500 bang and straight back out of it's mouth, i had the drag too tight and.Not long after the 6500 ZZZZZZZZ

but this time he was mine,my first stripped tuna .I will try to ad pic's

That was a top day.my first kingy in a long time.i was about give up on sydney harbour,but now we will try

a few more spots.thanks for the day out .went to watto's today and got meself some gloves,so next

time i'am out i won't cut my with the braid.

[Sydney Fads]

Yesterday my cousin,uncle and i left tunks 5am, doing about 15knts got to the fad at 6 no one else around.Still pitch black lucky the moon was out.My uncle was using pillies first cast got cut off .My cousin and i were using plastics.Not much happening cus and i caught one king each but went straight back in under size.Started to burly and heaps of kings and dollies around.Tried plastics ,pillies ,squid,yellow tail and jigging but no takers.My uncle caught one dollie around the fad.We trolled on the way in and my uncle caught one more dollie with a skirt on a hand line,while he had the line in his hand he fell asleep it was so funny when it hit, it scarred the crap out of him .This year so far only two kings not happy.Maybe next week if the lets me go,because every time i go i come back with no fish.She's starting to think i'am going some where else.
