Hi again just wanted to let you know that although the cork looks OK and feels comfortable, due to it being a load bearing point of your rod, it won't be strong enough to withstand breaking.

Just a suggestion- you can buy various chair leg caps from most hardware stores or find one on a throw-out piece of furniture which can go over the outside of the butt instead. They'll fit well over the black grip and provide you with a long lasting and more comfortable butt.

Looks like all the guides need re-doing and you might find those type hard to find as they've been out of production for a long time.

maybe look at cabins at places instead, self contained, nothing to set up, saves extra stuff to take in the car, especially as you have young kids, camping is good, but the amount of crap Id have to take, outweighs any possible enjoyment. But thats just me

I agree with Dave, Walk in and walk out with no need to set up or take down!

  3. Hi Emmanuel,

I made a mount for my watersnake out of aluminum tubing, added a $5 rod holder from kmart and a few eyelets to hold things down, Turned out pretty nice,

Going to put my battery in the back of the kayak, My kayak is 3.2 meters long so i`m not really worried about he weight in the back

  4. Hi All,

Had a few hours off work so headed down to Wollongong for a quick session, Started at the Harbor to collect some yellow tail for bait, Ended up pulling out the biggest leather jacket Ive ever seen or caught!  (the knife in the pic is about 25cm) Didn't think i was going to land it on the 4lb fluorocarbon.

After that headed to Windang break wall, Caught  a few 30+ bream plus countless undersized blackfish drifting with current along the wall.

Good to hook a few now the weather is warming up 😁

    Tight lines.
