Paternoster with 4 hooks reeling in thinking I have something massive. Screaming at the girlfriend to bring the net, her telling me we left it in the car, me panicking telling her I might need to wade into the water to grab it by hand...
4 pinkies later I feel pretty embarrassed

Hey guys.
Anyone have room in their boat? Or if hiring another houseboat if there's space I'm in!
Please let me know

Hey guys,
Got the day off Wednesday and Thursday and thinking about going for a day fish.
Anyone know any worthwhile spots around the eastern suburbs? Preferably a nice wharf/ jetty or off the rocks?
Thanks

Small hooks can catch a big fish but a big hook can't catch small fish. Generally.
If that makes sense.
Try using salted pillies. Been working well for me lately

Mate I rekon your best bet would be to go down to your local tackle shop and speak to the guys there and then if you have a specific question to ask it here.

Nice haul. If you guys have a spare spot next time i would love to join you!

Hey guys,
So I've been going to my cousins place at cottage point and fishing off his boat just tied at the jetty. I put a spot light onto the water from the boat and it attracts alot of mullet and other small baitfish. Every time I go, huge breams (40cm+) and what look like big mullet possibly, come from under the boat and grab the bait fish and go straight back under.
I've tried everything to get these guys, from plastic, blades, spinners, bait - pillies and squid - but nothing works they are just not interested.
I'm thinking the only way is to get a live mullet.
Any ideas?

It comes down to knowing how to control your drag

Burley with bread and pillies and they shall come, eventually

I've also caught yakkas spinning. Also cause them on little squid plastics. Jigs much better
What months which fish...?
