  3. Mate they are there and plenty of just head out past the drop off and turn right drive east until you hit the weed beds and start fishing north south drifting and you will find them

    cheers mik

  4. Gday mate snapper is the target for winter evan bream i have only fished up there a few times mainly fish in the illawarra

I reckon any of them spots you sugested would hold snapper and bream

Anchoring and burling up is a good start fish with bait and plastics and your sure to get either just look for some good ground on your sounder anchor up and bring the fish to you or fish with plasctis and drift around them spots

As for your gear the terez would be perfect with 20pnd evan the bream gear will do the trick just up your leader to about 10pnd i have caught lots of bream and snapper on light gear evan caugt a 4kg snapper on bream gear so dont be scared to use yah bream gear but yah gunna loose a few as well all in a fun days fishin

    hope this helps a bit

    cheers mik

  5. Which "connector" are you referring to? The 7 pin plug you connect to the car? If so check the socket on your car, if this is dirty and/or rusty it will affect the plug on the trailer in no time.

Also if the wiring is corroded at all when you fit a new plug this can also affect it's performance. A thin film of electrical contact grease can also prevent corrosion but the downside is that it can trap dirt and dust in the grease.

Yeah thats the one im talking about will have a look at the plug on the car

    thanks mik

  6. hi mik you could spray with inox or lanox after each use, sometimes if the connector (plug) when plugged into the car there is a small earth leak they can rust real quick so if you open up the male and female plugs and inspect and if you see the rust near the same terminals in both plugs you will know there is a short somewhere ,hope that helps cheers dunc333

thanks mate will have a look

At a price of about 9$, I think a yearly replacement would not be a big worry :-)

Not worried about changing every year just wanted to no whyit rusts ,sounds like its a common problem
