    Hi all omg best arvo fishing with the boys was thinking snapper but the southerly had other ideas so I troweled 4 rods past bass point no luck at all found a sneaky little sandy weedy spot...

    Mate was first to hook it's the smallest but fat from small

    Then mine then big sucker... So happy can not stop smiling, see I stoped fishing for squid 10 year ago then recently started needing fresh for Jews but I've been ending up getting it off a mate until today drought broken and blown away

    The next 2 came over quick. But I didn't care ihad my big one, now I'm off to put then on BBQ....

    Mate I'm from illawarra I fish for Jews quiet reg if u want some tips fill free to tag alongI'll and by the way I fish for Jews run out tide much more productive, fresh squid not from the shop and Taylor that's what I have found works for me,

    I must be doing somthing right this years I've only come back with no Jews 2 twice this year

    First time catching dollies and bang success at shellharour fad

    Hi all.

    Where to start we'll from the second I left home I thought it was gunna be a great day till.......... My boat battery was dead... But I'm ever resourceful I already had the boat in so parked the car mind you got the best park at ramp :) winning .

    So I bowworrw my cars it was all sweet.

    Headed out to get bait we ran into a thick school of slimmys 25 mins latter had 30+ slimies,

    Headed to the fad my silly mate got on the dark the night before he was filling shit but buggered him I was 10 km out so I ripped into him about being soft lol. Good times

    Got to the fad some nob was trolling at 373$5637637 million km and hour he took off the bang fish everywhere for about 5 hours got 6 keepers biggest 78 the water was so clear and blue I could see so far down pritty sure a small marlin went by . Cause the bits went quiet for about 15 mins after that.     what size hooks does everyone use, im very fond of the 8/0 oct hook gamatsui,

    how does live slimies go on them i get big kings on them so maybe

    Find your nearest FAD ( fish attracting device ) , get there as early as u can, before the rest of Australia gets there and throw a live bait at it .

    hit shellharbour fads up a few weeks ago only one boat out
