I get super confused differentiating these two species myself. I think the distinguishing feature is the faded black dot under the pec fins, is that right?
Watsons have stripes on the belly.

my guess is I could replace my bearings monthly for a few years for the price of a set of those though.

Good on you mate!
I ran one of mine on Sunday too, it didn't get a hit but the one next to it landed a dolly.
Whats your process for using the skin?

People wait for the dollies not necessarily the kings.

Hopefully the water warms up soon!!
Got bad news for you, there's a cold current headed our way by the look of it.
There is plenty of fish out there at the moment, lots of dollies being caught.

Only one for us yesterday at Fad 21. Plenty of boats there but all catching baby kings.

Also, when we got to Foreshore Drive boat ramp and were ready to launch, we waited for these 4 blokes who couldn't get their boat onto the trailer for 45mins. One of the blokes was on the boat and was standing on one side therefore making the boat tilt to one side. They were there wondering why the boat wasn't goIng onto the trailer in a level position. So, after not being able to figure it out, they decided whilst one was on the winch, 2 of them would get two tubular posts (looked like it was their gaffes) and push the boat on one side to tilt the other way so that they could get it level. It was going ok until the one on the boat came over to have a look on one side if it was going onto the trailer level and made it tilt again...lol. My mate and I just looked at each other and shook our heads in amazement that dills like this are on the water.
HAHAHAHA I was there waiting for these guys too.
They had the trailer WAAYYY too deep, they were trying to float it onto a roller trailer. In the end the security guard told them to drive around and if it wasn't right, line up and try again.
after 45 minutes they still had it on crooked.

Saw a few rogue waves pushing in from the mol pt side. I think that's what stuffed them up.
we drove past when we saw the hull floating and saw lots of jet skis.

I've seen a decent amount caught? Botany wide was holding them a few weeks ago too.

FADS
in Fishing Chat
The way out was a mess, had some white knuckles by the time we got through the heads. We saw a lot of boats turning around but we pushed on. Calmed a bit around 60 fathoms but still not what I'd call good conditions.
We got them from 60-75cm.

I stick mine in the drill press and polish it with car polishes.

Great store, easily my favorite in Sydney.
Managed to spend a few thousand last time I was in there =/

Strange, I never get that issue.
What are you casting it in?

I've learnt that sea anchors spend a lot of time 'just out of reach' when floating away after slipping off the cleat.

Genius.
Cheers!

How are you heating the lead?
I haven't been able to find something small and electric to heat it up with. I'd do it in a pan in the kitchen but I think I might get murdered by the other half.

I usually head out solo from Botany bay in a 5m half cabin.
I usually come back solo with no fish too, If you're keen on having a go at the FAD's and some of the closer reefs then you're welcome aboard... as long as you help find the fish

Amazing mate!
I'd love to go over there for a fish! -
I'm surprised he doesn't catch a Coca Cola fish some days

Like an iphone how good would it be if sounders are pin code activated. The pin will always remain even with a factory hard reset. The only way to retrieve a lost pin is via personal email from the company.
Im pretty sure the Simrad Go series can be Pin Coded. I remember seeing it in the menu,
FISHRAIDER HAS BEEN SAVED :)

Goodluck to you, but I will not be continuing my membership.
