I've just got a new renagade 460 and am struggling with the same thing tbh. Went out like you on Friday and caught FA as well on the squid front. So I'll be watching for the replays as well [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Evening all,
I just wanted to ask if anyone has had any luck with kings in or around Sydney Harbour yet this season?

Under the Roseville bridge in Davidson park would be perfect. There is a huge park area as well to kick a ball around.

Yeah it is okay. I've never seen or heard anything to make me think otherwise.

And when you say "select a page without the gps maps" do you mean the sounder page or the down scan page?

hi mate, thanks for your reply. When I say fish symbols I mean arches. If its snow like on ur screen ur sensitivity is to high u need to adjust it, go to pages and select a page without the gps map, than press menu and it should be the very top one, also when u say u dont see fish symbols do u mean actual fish symbols or archers

that's cool man I was just being a dick. Catching squid for an entree and a king for main would be very very cool.LOL.... sorry didn't mean it like that. Hopefully the squid is your entree next time.

I heard the same about middle harbour but didn't get any takers on my live squid. But had a very cool day regardless.Still no Kings around as far as reports go but I have heard of a few inside Middle Harbour. Well done on the Squid.

Good evening all.
I'm delighted to offer up my first fishing report I apologize in advance because it's not as exciting as some.
I set off from Roseville ramp at around 5am to a crisp 8 degrees.
Headed out with the mission of learning my way around a little I.e rocky point, sugarloaf bay, wedding cake etc.
the water appeared very clear in both middle and the main harbour. I stuck my head out of north head for a little bit but as it's the first time I'm not sure if it looked clear or not.
Water temp was a consistent 17.5 - 18 degrees. The swell inside was flat and it was a cracking day. I kept my eye on the birds but nothing seemed interesting. I didn't see anything busting up the surface anywhere.
I managed to land my first squid on a pink yozuri followed by one more I dropped a live squid off the side around the spit on my way home to try my luck but no interest at all.
Thanks,
MP

Good on you ! What boat did you get if I may ask?
100m North of the northbridge rowing club, just past the moored boats. I caught them west side of sugarloaf as well when we moore there overnight. Both good from dusk till dawn. During daytime, Balmoral rocky point would be the go.

The day is almost upon me to collect the new boat (this Saturday:)) being excited and all I'll be taking it out immediately if not sooner. I would like to take it out for its maiden run on Saturday afternoon for a few squid. I'll be launching it from the Roseville ramp can anyone suggest and decent spots for squid now I'm no longer restricted to land based[emoji847]

My vote for what it's worth is for the stradic. I have two and I dig them. Worth stretching a little to get them if you can.
