Lol yes the other rod was on but only a baby didn’t see it till after the pic was taken, there will be some good reds about after their swell drops. And 32m to 37

[Wollongong snapper to 67]

so after trolling round for the last few months having used god knows how much fuel, my favourite time of year is just around the corner. 

So I went to a reef I know produces This time of year. First drop 45cm second 57cm. Then mr seal decided to bring his family in for some snapper on me.

 

so back to the start of my drift full squid on light sinker bang she goes off screaming, 67cm turns up under the boat, 

then a nice friendly mako around the 100-150 mark decided it wanted to test my gear. But happy it buggered off after that all in all 9 snapper 8 flathead and few pigs.
