  1. Hiya Raiders,

I have recently purchased and received my kayak2fish nextgen 10 MKII kayak and am looking for anyone who lives around the Lake Munmorah area who may be interested in showing me the ropes and taking me under their wing. I’m keen to get out on the water and plan to take it slow for safety reason but would love the company on the water if anyone is keen.

  2. Hi Raiders,

iv bought myself a small bait trap to use for when I take my boy fishing as I find the frozen baits around my area are terrible. Was looking for any tips or recommendations when it comes to what to put in the trap.

    cheers in advance.

  4. Hey Raiders,

Iv moved back to the central coast in the last week and am now living in Gorokon minutes from the bridge to toukley. Was wondering if anyone had any pointers or spots they woukd be willing to share. Also looking for a fishing buddy if anyone is interested.

  5. Hey Raiders,

I've recently been trying my hand at lure fishing for bream and other types of fish but can't seem to get a bite. I'm looking for someone around western Sydney who might be willing to give me some help. Wether it be by boat or shore I'll be happy to put some $$ for supplies and lures.

    Cheers

    Mr swoodi

here are my personal advice, which may or may not appeal to you. There is a app call wechat which I currently uses, it's very handle it's a chatting/SMS/video call etc. Might be worth while to consider taking fish raider a step ahead for the fisho here. Basically, people from fish raider will be invited to a group chat. People show and share their catch instantly and anyone can comment whenever they get the chance.

    easy to use and convenient.

anyway it's up to you champ. Your the boss :)

Seems like a pretty good idea. Iv used similar things for other applications and has worked fairly well.

There is also an app called Fishbrain. Its a free app with a subscription side of the app as well. Users can log fish caught and bait / lures used and location of the catch.

Yeah to easy, I'm not really looking to sell it as it's a great second set up but would be happy to help a fellow raider out. I'll shoot him a pm

  9. Hey Raiders,

Iv been thinking about this for a while and even though I'm far from experienced but am happy to have people tag along who are like me and new to fishing and work together to get better and grow the knowledge of our fishing skills, I'm happy to give all styles of fishing a go but am mainly going for estuary fishing and also targeting bass and carp.

All raiders are welcome just hit me up and we can set a time.

Australia's largest recorded Carp was 19.7Kg in Centennial Park, Second largest was caught by a mate of mine from the Sydney Coarse Angling club at just under that (A few hundred grams under) in Lake Parramatta a few years ago. Parramatta River & Lake Parramatta both hold plenty or Carp. & they are a great sports fish. I used to spend my days sitting on the banks of Parra River fishing for them when I was unable to work. Even now I will happily spend a day relaxing by the water to catch a couple. Carp Fishing is not about catching a heap in a short time, Its about relaxing and catching 1 or 2 big fish. My biggest to date was caught on the Nepean River at 75cm around 18Lb.

Yeah GG I'll have to head back soon and give it another go.
