  1. hey fishos, i do plenty of tailor fishing off Fraser for live baits (legal sized) for mackerel, when i fish for the tailor i go thru heaps of Halco Snap Traces, and ive noticed wilson and shogun sells very cheap wire trace. (7-8$ cheaper)

so i  though i would ask everyone what wire they use for tailor or any fishing (with bait)

i don't use wire when i chuck lures for tailor since it takes away the action and casting distance of the lure, i get heaps of hookups without wire.

    thank you in advance

  2. hey, i was wanting to target squid for a feed/live bait

and i was wondering the type of conditions or habitat they live in? (e.g Dropoffs, structure)

and what lures // rigs are good to use, thanks any info helps.

    welcome to the forum josht

    if you are fishing landbased,

the chanel is good for flatties or you can wade out onto a sandbar and cast around the dropoffs there, i usually use softplastics around 3 inches with curltails, then i will take a pice of pipe with me and put a bait rod out with mullet fillet on it

Forgot to reply, thanks for the help it did work i caught a few small flatties and 1 solid bream, all released thanks so much man!
