  1. Hi if you are using wet fly`s ( nymph`s ) I would get rid of the bubble float and try small piece of cork. Run the line through the cork until you have your desired drop length then place a small split shot to hold it there, the split shot will also add weight for casting. you can slowly wind the fly back when in slow moving water If you want to use surface fly`s you can use the same technic but wax the line from the cork to the fly. there is a wax that fly fisherman use for their leaders but not sure what it is called. hope this may help
  2. I`d get it welded up, it wouldn`t take very long to weld and shouldn`t cost too much. Once welded it would be okay to use until you can get another prop and then keep this one for a spare
  3. Hi Frank I believe that once you record a track you can go from start to finish or finish to start. cheers
  4. There is the Murrumbidgee river but it is running a banker and flowing very quickly at the moment. It may still produce some good fish if you can find a nice spot where the current isn`t running to quick. Lake Wyangan should be okay with bait like worms, shrimp ,small yabbies. Lure wise small/medium hard body lure like AC, orgee or any other lure like that or even blades like ZX , TT.
  5. This is the other option to resync 1) Remove motor head cover.2) Press and hold down the RC chip button.3) Press any button on the remote control hand unit4) Release the RC chip button after the indicator light flashes.5) If the indicator light fails to flash repeat steps 2-4.6) Replace the motor head cover. Other then this you may have to try google to find the answer. cheers
  6. Hi Basswhisperer Give this a try 1) Make sure the battery in the remote is not flat it should be 2 to 3 volts. 2) Press the RC button and the on/off button on the remote at the same time (red light should come on) 3) Hold them down until motor starts running (app 10 sec) 4) Release the RC button cheers
  7. Hi Frank I would go with the side scan, I think it would be something that you would use a lot as it is great for positioning the boat with in casting distance from hidden structure. It`s also easier to find fish around structure rather then wasting time prospect fishing on structure you think holds fish. cheers
  8. Hi Salvatore Have you looked at a trailer dolly. They are a cheap option at around $100. They fit into the trailer pull and they are great for moving boats or trailers around. cheers
  9. This might sound strange but check that the transduce plug is all the way in , as it may look like it is but I had a mate that was having the same trouble. we found that the plug was a bit dry and wasn`t going all the way in so gave it a spray with some silicon spray. if you can try another transducer and it still doesn`t work then it is definitely the main unit.
  10. I too would doubt that you could find a waterproof sealing agent that would work, plus I personally wouldn`t like to put anything like that on my custom boat cover as you never know what it will do to it. I would suggest leaving the bungs out, tilt the boat as high as possible using the jockey wheel and if possible cover the boat with a poly tarp.
  11. Hi when you say it leaks like a sieve, is the boat out in the rain and not under cover or does it leak if you are travelling and it`s raining.
  12. Unless the manufacture can tell you the weight the only other way is to go to a weight station and weight the boat and trailer, then take the boat off and go weight just the trailer and subtract that from the total weight.
  13. Hi Ali2196 I have fished there but it was a long time ago. I will send you a PM with some info.
  14. Hey Big Neil We were with you on that trip, so you should now know who this is.
  15. Hi Has anyone on here been to Woolgarlo Leisure Resort on Burrinjuck Dam. Just wanted some info to see what you thought of the park, what the cabins where like etc. thanks
