Hi all just writing to find out if I need a life jacket to fish sydney harbour middle head as Ian thinking of going there next Sunday and don’t own a life jack will buy on if it is compulsory

I live in Earlwood looking at any where from Kernel to north head. 
i have good rods for kingfish as I been fishing for a long time from wharfs and boats but don’t know much about  rock fishing joshGTV

Hi all just wondering if any one can tell me where to go rock fishing Around sydney that’s not to dangerous and what fish and gear to bring as Ian sort of new to rock fishing  I would like to get a king if possible
