Hi all, 

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to get myself some beach worms for targeting bream, whiting etc?

 

st George and Sutherland shire areas.

is there anyone that can point me in the right direction for some great blackfish weed or cabbage in the St George / Sutherland shire area? 
 

I have one place but it’s been smashed and there is nothing left.

I got it from a cousin of mine who had it sitting is his garage for 8yrs never used.. 

it did the job. I’ve just started targeting them in the last 2 weeks or so..

location: Botany bay

Time: 0830-12:00 midday

bait : mixed cabbage and weed

tide : fished the run in and and hour so so on the run out.

Gear: Jarvis Walker Aurora estuary blackfish 9ft rod, shimano stradic ci4 2500 reel spooled with 8lb super pe braid and 4lb fluorocarbon leader.

Hi all,

After abit of help from people chasing blackfish. Wanting to know if anyone would like to share some spots to catch them. Have my 8 and 9yr old boys that want to go for a fish and target blackfish.  First time for everything and everyone.

Hi guys, have a few questions that’s some of you fisho’s might be able to answer for me.

chasing Luderick/blackfish what rod is best,

1 graphite?

2 glass?

what length is best for fishing from wharfs and occasionally rocks?

 

Run out tide better then run in?

What session are they more active : morning session or afternoon session ??
 

any advice is much appreciated.
