If the tip of it's tail is hard and bony: Snipe eel/Serpent eel, incidentally a primo bait for kingis. Uses the tail-tip to bury into the sand, hence seeming like a snag initially. If not then it's a pike eel. You'd know if it was a pikey, he'll fearlessly & repeatedly lunge at you with jaws snapping & remarkable accuracy. Boating a pikey invariably results in claret, often requiring surgery. Best to cut the line or let the priest bless it ( +10 Hail Marys as penance) before it comes over the gunwale.
Pikies are without doubt the most unpleasant creature God ever shovelled guts into.

sorry im cant answer your question as i havent tried these lure but i can say that the atomic prawns are the best ive found myself, check em out. heaps better than gulp prawns i reckon but some may disagree.

by the way if any one has any questions about sp's , please..... ask here, it would be great see what works and dosnt work, opinions etc...

just a question about the sp, is it a day thing or can it be used at night?

the bloke that owns bozo's is also a great bloke. i met him on a barra trip last year and he was a good laugh, generous and a very good fisher. I know bozo's are very popular in qld but i havnt been able to find anyone that sells them down here...
iv seen bozos in a certain department store

THESE HAVE TO BE THE 2 MOST POPULAR BRANDS...
1) WHICH BRAND DO U PREFER?
2) WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?
PERSONALLY I PREFER SQUIDGIES BECAUSE TO ME THEY MORE CLOSLEY RESEMBLE A REAL FISH WITH THEIR LITTLE TAILS FLAPPING AROUND
OR IS THERE ANY OTHER BRANDS THAT YOU THINK, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST PICTURES.

We had a session 2 weeks ago and the only ones who caught fish were those using Squidgies. I managed 3 on Squidgies.
and it was on light gear too... boy that was fun.

-

-
moulinex, on the point, on the bottom with peeled prawn, you'll get big slimeys as well, but you just gotta move around and try your luck dude...
-
does any one know where i can get 1000 yard spool of berkley fire line?? i have a few reels i want to spool up and it seems like the best option...
-
mate if u want an indication, have a look at the price....
-
i heard they go rock hard after you take them out and use them.... so i did a little experiment, after a session of soft plastics i put 2 aside, left one in my room on the TV and threw one on the back of my ute after 2 weeks the one on the back of my ute sgrunk and went hard, but the one in my room remained soft... so i guess if u wash them off and keep them in a cooll dry place theres no reason y u cant use them again!! just spray some scent on them....
-
iv come to the conclusion its the braid its self, fireline is the key, no twists, no hassles.
-
well what do ya know..... they deleted the sahara...
-
mate u should give "siglon tough" a go, its got an ultra fine diameter compared to any other line so 40lb has the thickness of 30 lb roughly.
-
not sure if its out, but thank god they deleted that sahara...
