Hi guys, new poster and relatively new to fishing but I have purchased a Daiwa Saltist X 9ft 6 rod max PE 5 and was wondering if a saragosa 6000 spooled with Ocea PE 3(58lb) braid would be suitable for chasing salmon and small to medium kingies/Samson fish/Mack’s over here in WA? also want to buy a good 20lb all round setup for plastics and boat use. Was thinking a 4000 reel and 6’6” to 7’ rod 4-8kg? Preferably Shimano and any budget up to $600 or so thanks for the advice - i am currently on halfway through a 4 week swing and need something to look foward to buy when I get home haha
