As i am not an indigenous Australian and most of us are not maybe we should all be removed from the environment. My problem with the greens is they just love to be extreme. You are right we do need some balance, that is why so many people have had enough of the greens.

G-day Kel try a smith or jigging master they are not cheap but they are great to use, you can find some reasonably priced second hand ones if you keep an eye out.cheers -J

Was it 80kg, Was it 70.375kg, Was it 69.467kg, Was it 86.627kg who cares it has already been stated that the fish was not weighed. Its a great fish and atop effort on 15kg. If there was a bit less criticism of peoples estimates and more kudos for peoples efforts iam sure we would all get to enjoy more reports of big fish.

68.769kg at a guess

Great feed of crab. If anyone is looking for this spot i am pretty sure it is Botany bay.

You wont forget that moment ever.Plenty of anglers might have thought about throwing a popper afterwards but you did it in the heat of the moment,Grand effort and due reward.

As usual an awesome day on the water and what better lunch on a Sunday than fresh yellowfin for the family.
Big thanks to Greg and Dale for all the work that goes into making a game boat so successful.

The water resistant phones may not be that stylish but after adding up how much i have spent on water damaged phones and sunglasses, I could have bought a few stellas.

Best to say nothing and let people think you are an idiot than to open your mouth and confirm it.

You will definitely not melt the blank with this method so long as you only apply the heat to the winch fitting & not the blank.
Araldite softens at 100 degrees so you do not need to cook it.This is a tried & tested method that rod builders use.
-
Applying heat to the winch fitting will soften the bond enough for you to twist it down off the blank using multi grips.
Araldite softens/weakens under heat & regains its strenghth again when it cools.

Send it down our way, Between the oil refinery the sewage outfall,ICI chemisals & desalination plant

sand movement check out the container port expansion there is a bit of sand being moved there at the
moment Ahh Botany bay the birth place of the modern nation.

Hello Roberta
I take 7x1000mg fish oil in the morning & again at night & if it is
a really bad day 7 with lunch. They work better than any prescription
medication i have tried & the only side effects are good ones.
Give them a go.Cheers j.

G-day wazg
We get a good run of frigates at around this time every year.
They are so much fun on the light gear or fly.

Cool aquarium
I am not smart enough to know the scientific principle behind it.
They fill the upright piece of tank full of water put a lid over it hold tight
turn upside down & remove the lid when it is under water, try it with a glass
of water in the sink.

That is a nice shovel head i bet the kids were impressed. Good on you for sending the old girl back.

Hi Peter, I had a similar experience some years ago of Patonga beach. We watched as a trawler was netting from one end to the other & wondered why the birds were going mad behind it all the time. We decided to get close & see what they were throwing out? They where sorting fish on their catch table & any under size
fish were despatched over the side. Only problem was the means they were doing it. They were using a knife that hooked over into a 90degree angle which was whacked into the fish & then over the side to the waiting birds. This is releasing undersized fish, I don't think so.
Regards Jeff
The beach haulers in botany used to do the same thing release with a stick with a nail through it. You only have to see how much better the fishing in botany is these days to realise how much damage was being done.
To be fair though some recreational fishers are every bit as bad as the pros just not on the same scale of damage. A couple of months ago we returned to hole in the wall ramp to find some knob had dumped four large port jackson sharks on the ramp. I still have the pictures in my camera its a pretty sad sight, Unfortunately anyone who saw the sharks on the ramp thinks we are mostly red neck cowboys that the fish stocks need protection from.

Hello Ray its not a problem just take a sieve or your wifes good pasta colander & you can pump them at most times of the tide, If you do not mind getting a little wet.

G-day karate i have caught them when trolling for kings outside botany. Its a sign the water is really heating up.

Hi
Everyone knows that this situation makes no sense. Unfortunately, unless everyone makes their voice heard it will happen. From what I have been led to understand, the only way this can now be stopped is by Joe Ludwig under section 91 Fisheries Management Act 'exceptional circumstances'. For this to happen it will take a lot of pressure from all opposed. Send Joe an Email and ask him to stand up using the above Act. We all need to stand up for what we believe in these days as leadership is very thin.
