  1. As Derek said they are handed so with most the one way bearing is reversible.

it will freewheel in one direction should be take-up, if the drag adjustment increases the take up tension it is arse about.

  2. I’d reckon this was just a small battle in a long war be vigilant all and keep up the fight.

We are well behaved honest folk that just want to be able to go for a fish with our families and friends, dont be mistaken our opponents are are a little less moralistic and verge on fanatical, with members of the government being reported as receiving death threats after the lockout retreat. They are loopies and wont let the truth get in the way of a good story to prevent us from our recreational outlet.

Beware the torn blue fringe outlines their desires it is only resting.

  3. Great work its all about practice and technique work out what you want to catch and tune your approach to your target , great start well done its a lifetime of joy

Nice bass - well done !! Must be time for me to plan another trip to Glenbawn.

How was the green algae - when I was last there in April there was a fair bit up around the EaglesNest?

No noticeable algae to speak of even up the back around Eagles nest

  5. Fished at Glenbawn last weekend, was an ANSA Comp .

Dam was at 63% lower than the last time I visited.

Ended up with 9 Bass to 400 mm for the weekend mostly on lure on the troll with the one pictured on bait (Live Yabby)

It was uncomfortably windy throughout the weekend at time and cold on Sunday night.

Overall a good fun weekend though.

    Off to Wyndamere next weekend.

  6. Nice work mate,

I was up in Darwin a couple of months back and I reckon it had been a good 5 years since I had the baitcaster out.

within 20 minutes it was all good again.

I need to get the fly gear happening and that's another story.

Well done ,don't be afraid to have a go.
