We only managed one bluefin on Fishbones today, and interesting enough it took a lumo sprocket.

They smashed them multiple times today mark, see you out tomorrow mate!

Bluefin were caught at 151.37.??? and 34.11.???. I will be heading straight to those marks first thing in the morning. Good luck guys.

what lures were they hitting today? and any idea what size bait they seem to be chasing?
We got them trolling on 8" lures and they definitely like lumo sprockets,also stick baits, plastics and jigging. Good luck guys!

Damo Im heading out tomorrow out of the Hacking heading east south east then heading towards Heatons and then coming back via Browns. Any intel would be greatly appreciated.
I will be on 21 and 72 call sign Duckegg and always happy to assist.

Duckegg, we were out today and landed 9 Bluefin up to 48kg between 5 guys. Fish were caught thanks to Orca calling us over at roughly 151.37.??? and 34.11.???. See you guys out again tomorrow.

I will be out 100%, hoping to find some barrels. I bet with the good weather next week there will be a lot of guys taking sickies.

I was out tues, one the unlucky ones. Saw many, many people hooked up and even saw a few hookups happen right in front of us.
Out of curiosity did anyone notice the bayliner type boat with he light grey hull?... They were hooked up for ages but I was glassing him and he wasn't getting the slightest bend in the rod... None of the boys could figure out what the **** was going on...
Ye, we saw him too. Heard they lost the fish after a 3 hour fight.

Went out in a mates boat today Reel Screamer, managed a 70kg bluefin, 3 albies and 2 gemmies. Great day on the water a huge thanks to Dave off sideshow for giving the marks to everyone on the radio. Cheers Mike

Usually at least 30+ miles offshore, but that can vary depending on currents and water temperature. Looking at ripcharts it's going to be a late season if they do turn up at all, here's hoping!

Went out to port hacking fad Monday got about 20 dollies, only 1 legal 70cms and all the rest were 55s to 59cms. Then headed back to find some kings, got hammered by that southerly and only managed a 56cm rat. Finished the day with 3 nice squid for a feed. Taking the misses out tomorrow, hopefully to find some decent kings. Cheers Mike

Some solid reds there mate. A hookup on the 4lb line would get the heart pumping!
Are you using 4lb when the fish are finiky?
Ye, your not wrong 3kg reds on 4lb line was fun. That day the fish were a bit finicky but in saying that I still use 20lb leader with 4lb line.
