  1. I have 5 stradics & 2 sustains all are 1000 series reels and they are used a couple of times a week all year round and they have never been touched other than a drop of oil in the oil port every couple of weeks and they are washed in soapy water and hosed off after every use.For the money they are an excelent reel and all reels are over 2 years old.

  2. I think the Bream are all through the rivers at the moment going by the other reports . I usually fish around the Lagarno To East Hills area . The pegs are well worn Darryl its the same fish as the first pic and he was taken in 1ft of water , he was chasing bait in the shallows at the mouth of a creek.

  3. Fished my usual spots on Friday & Sat for some excelent bream 10 Friday arvo and a dozen plus a small ep on Sat morning.

The best Bream went 34cm to the fork and was in excellent condition.

    Small ep on sx40

The River is full of bait at the moment and as can be seen by the shape of this bream everything is feeding well.

  5. Snag & I ventured out on the Parra today to have a look where the Bream where hiding .Also to test the fishing capabilities of the new Stacer Pro Tounrnament Elite.

We had a great day with plenty of good fish of all types coming over the side including whiting flathead flounder & the target species of bream. No monsters around but a good bag each all the same. Thanks Jorg for a great day out on the new boat. A couple of pics to follow.

  6. Hi Guys

If you have a look at my post on Bass fishing at Glenbawn all the fish were caught useing VANISH & 4lb Fireline all tied with double uni-knot and a uni-knot to the spinnerbait. The drags were wound up that tight the the fireline would almost cut your skin when trying to pull line off the reel.We did get busted up a couple of times but i think fencing wire would have busted on some of the big fish. With any type of fishing the most important part is the way the knots are tyed.

    Just my opinion.

PS if ya have any Vanish ya dont want i will take it off your hands.
