nice work your spot seems to produce the fish but r u putting them back or taking em home to eat?
its been doing alright lately man lol i usually take them home to eat if they are decent size but if they are just legal i usually throw them back. Whats the point of bringing home one 40cm flatty or bream. if im gonna eat i want stuff my face on a big fish lol thats what i recon anyways

Big flattie on a tailor ! LOVE IT! Tailors got to be one of the most underated big fish baits. Most would catch a just legal tailor and not even think to use it as bait. It catches jews, big flatties, sharks and i've heard of big kings too! Also get big bream on the fillets! I swear by it since i got my first jew on one !
Cheers, Tom
Thats true mack attack if i cant get my hands on any yellowtail then out go the tailor which are just as good. Like you said everything eats them. Everything ive caught on yellowtail i have caught on tailor. jews, sharks etc
cheers mate

Ye man plenty I found that when I fish for Jewfish there in winter I get a lot of big bream by catches. I mean bream smashing whole butterflied tailors and yellowtail. I was fishing there with a mate last week he was fishing for bream but casting his line out. It was a high tide and I told him on the high here the bream feed around the wharf. First bait he dropped he caught a 35cm bream he was like no way lol I was laughing.

J Hooked your lucky you caught some after the 6hour wait. I've waited 6hours on multiple occasions without a run lol but that's fishing ay lol
Look I've heard that around the gladesville are we're I fish you can eat small portions of the fish you catch every now and then. Dunno what happens to you when you eat fish constantly from there and I wouldn't want to find out lol

Went for a fish landbased in the parramatta river last Thursday night. Got to the wharf at around 11.30 to catch our bait and to have the first bait out as soon as the last ferry departed at 12. Nothing for the first hour, threw out another bait(a small butterflied yellowtail with a single hook through the nose) at 1.30am and about half an hour later(within the last couple hours of the run in tide) my mates screaming at me YOUR ROD YOUR ROD!. I ran over, striked and fought a nice 70cm Mulloway to the wharf where my mate was waiting for the gaff shot.
Cheers

Went for a fish to my usual wharf this morning. Started fishing at around 1am with nothing for a couple of hours then at around 3am on the run in tide this little fella smashed my butterflied yellowtail. I was suprised how hard it smashed the bait. Like a rocket it took about 50m of line before i striked then a couple of minutes later it was on the wharf. Swallowed the bait completely. Love it!
Happy fishing

We managed some albacore around 15kg they were smashing our 8inch lumo skirt and 6inch purple and black skirt both weren't touching our bibbed or bibbless minnows.
