Hey all,

I was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I'm interested in trying my hand at blackfishing. I have the rig, got some good tips off a few people, know a few spots to try but can't seem to find the bait. I've seen on this forum and also heard off a guy I saw blackfishing, that I can get some weed at Kelso park. I went down today at low tide and checked on the river end and in the park but couldn't locate it. If anyone knows could you please let me know or anywhere around this area to get some, I pretty keen to give it a crack.

Hey all,

I've been browsing these forums for a while now and been picking up loads of top pointers and stories, so thanks to all. I also recently moved to Revesby and have been trying a few spots on the Georges river and was wondering if anyone could point me to other good spots to try. I've tried Illawong, around Alfred Points bridge and and a few others along Henry Lawson. Haven't had too much success but I am a bit of a noobie and still learning.

Great fish there. Any chance of letting us know roughly where abouts on the Georges it was. I've recently moved near the river and been trying a few spots but haven't had much luck.
