  1. If you spend enough time fishing the rocks you tend to gain a lot more respect for Mother Nature and how unforgiving she can be.

Not a laughing matter to be honest.

I'd take on the advice from fellow raiders

    .....just saying.

  2. Save your $$$$ and get yourself a pair of Costa's I think i paid $350 at a popular fishing store in the central coast ...haven't looked back since ! And I do a lot if driving for work so I use them as everyday sunnies too work a treat !

  3. G'day I got a Yamaha 40hp 4stroke on my 4.1 Rhino and am very happy with it !

Very economic and quiet and you don't have to worry about adding oil....

If your concerned about the weight try putting the fuel tank, batteries etc up the front to keep it even.

And make sure it's electric start and tilt/trim.

    Good luck !

  4. G'day Raiders,

I'm set on getting this 4.1 Alleycraft Topender both hull and motor are 2004, but have since been told to be cautious of the weight of the motor plus the fuel and battery aswell as it being a tiller steer so the driver is also over the rear...

I intend to evenly distribute the weight ie ; under floor tank, and moving the batteries towards the front or even a centre or side console. I guess the best way is to put it in the water and go for a spin but just curious on what the experienced have to say ....

    Cheers

    Geoff
