I went through this same process about 5 months ago and in the end bought a sony Vaio and have never had one problem with it compared with the 5 guys i sit next to at work 3 have dell and all have been sent back and the 2 with macs one guy sent his back twice finally got it working and the other guy is trying to get his money back after going through 3 machines and it still not working Apple have had it longer then he has out of the last 4 months
i know sony are a bit pricey but a problem free computer is worth the money in my mind

Hi Guys,
We are looking for an alvey side mount for the boat so we can fish for some Blue eye Cod and other fish of the deep. Can you guys offer some advice on what size , line , set ups and where you can get them reasonably priced ( i am aware they are expensive )

Mate
I am no mechanic but i have owned my liberty now for about 3 years
99 liberty rx 2.5
Could not be happier plenty of power on the road. Chance of losing traction is bordering on impossible, Reasonably economic( I have a heavy right foot) the only reason i would stray from my current car is to get a new one.
for 20k you could get a decent wagon which look the goods with the roof racks already mounted and plenty of room for the kids fishing gear and wife
Also bonus is they have climate control in the rx which sells it self
any questions mate let me know
for example my old man would rather drive my car then his old 2002 statesmen or his 05 v8 adventura
they drive like they are on rails and they are safe

I have a heap of Goals this summer
1. Head down the coast every 3rd weekend
2. Catch some elbow slapping whiting
3. Bream on small poppers
4.Backbreaking Kingy session
5.Get some outriggers for the boat and head wide for some Marlin action my first trip last summer had a hook up of about 100kg and i blew it
6.Snapper
and last and probably my hardest probably a 1.5kg plus blackfish off the rocks
If anyone can help with the above i am sure we can find a seat on a boat at some stage

Hi All,
You guys have been very helpfull in the past. so i have a few more questions for you.
Me and all my mates and there mrs's are heading to Tuross Head for new years.
We will most likely have access to an boat for the river but i am considering taking down our 6m cruise craft for a bit of offshore fishing.
I have seen in maps that Tuross head has a very shallow bar so i don't know if this is crossable. ZIf not where would be the best place to launch and how far?
also just a general what is the fishing like down there and what can we expect?
Thanks for your help in advanced

Thats the the good thing about fishing for blackfish you can be standing shoulder to shoulder and only one guy will catch all the fish. They would have to be one of the hardest things to learn to fish for
Thanks for tips
i knjow quite a few guranteed spots in botany bay

I had finally had enough of work so i took a couple of days off.
Plan is to launch the boat on the sunday and come back on tuesday arvo. This will be done by myself
Now here is my question
In the port hacking i am keen to chase some blackfish. I have a few years experience fishing from them off the stones. But am unsure of any productive areas in the river any advice would be appreciated.
Plus i am sure you guys could give me some ideas on how i can fill in some time
Boat is a 6m Cruise Craft Explorer
