kane
Nick & i decided a trip to the fad was in order. So we hit Kyeemah ramp at 6am and stcoked up on livies and made the trip out after a few problems finding it we were there with about four other boats about but not much action going on. On our second drift through Nick came up trumps witha 3 - 4 kg Dollie which put up a great fight on 6 kg it took a slightly weighted half pilly. Our third drift past my bait runner went off and after a short hook up another good fish was lost. After that we headed back in to the bay and chased some garfish we ended up with 3 they were real picky but next time we are going to take some small luderick hooks and doe Nick and fish This week we are gunna try porthacking fad I will let you know how we go Kane Edited March 1, 2006 by kane

Cheers Simon Matei also heard the rumour when i first started fishing, beleive it or not the Sydney fad that lies 8.5 kms out isnt that far, i go there in a 4.75 alum runabout and there a always a few boats there so if you ever run into trouble there is always someone to assist. Just make sure you choose a good day to go out
choteo
Hi All, I've been out to Browns on 5.5m Half Cabin.... (never caught anything....jajaja)... but it keeps you on the edge. The Sydney East FAD is not far at all, on a good day....!!! and usually there several vessels travelling the route. Once you arrive, well it's like a merry-go-round...jajaja Alway remember to log-in with the Coast Guard, and even better try to organise a trip with another Fishraider.... Maybe we could put this into the "Social Events" and call it "Doly Hunt". I wonder how many takers there would be... Regards, JM
