Botany Bay Sat 8th April

we were on the water just after 8, after launching at munch ave ramp . As soon as we hit the bay, the wind pick up and it was a real bumpy ride.

we decided to try around from the runway where it was a little protected. A couple of little bites and a baby leather jacket chased the bait all the way to the boat, but couldn't be hooked.

we drifted back over to the container terminals a couple of times, there was a bit of action in the middle where we had a few brief runs but again couldn't land anything.

decided to head back out into the bay and made our way down to molineaux point. It was less choppy than before but still about a 1m swell through the channel. Molineaux was pretty blowy, from there you could see decent size waves breaking around Bare Island and also the headland at the entrance to the bay. It was tempting to ditch the boat for a surfboard.

Decided to call it a day and go and have a drink instead
