netic
Hey all, went out in search of some dollies and kings, Stocked up on around 20 yakkas and headed straight to the port jackson FAD, upon getting there saw no surface action, threw the yakkas and no response, trolled minnows without a hit, after around an hour decided to go back in and try for some kings. Got 3 giant squid in 3 casts, squid were around 45cm, a little too big for bait but decided to give it a try anyway, cut 1 up into strips and left the other one full. Downrigged both at the same time around the various markers for around an hour without a hit. Then decided Macca's breakfast was what a wanted and headed back to the boat ramp. Seems the dollies might have headed up north already. would love to hear reports otherwise. Well this will be my last report for the season as the boat was cleaned and covered up till next pelagic season, little too cold this time of year for my blood. Good luck all this winter
