gio
Hi everyone This is my first report for some time now as i havent really had anything of substance to report on for the last 2 months. Yesterday morning headed out with a cousin of mine who is somewhat a guru of fishing in my family he knows all the secret spots, and the little tricks that go with them. We hit brooklyn ramp and were in the water at about 6.30am and cruised over to the spot and got a nice bread berley trail going. Within 10mins i was bringing in the 1st bream of the day . The bites were pretty consistent and we were boating about 2 keepers an hour, i was mainly on net duties as Frank was consistenly outfishing me We finished the day with 13 keeper bream the biggest going 38cm and the smallest being 25cm and 3 flounder. We were using peeled cocktail prawns, crumbed chicken, beef marinated in parmesan cheese and fresh yellowtail caught as by catch for bait, tried soft plastics with no success . I also caught a small whiting on a piece of chicken and a size 3/0 beak baitholder hook which i thought was unusual All up a great day on the water, with some good fish aswell. Cheers Some pics of the fishermen and the days catch
