Beach Fishing - Norther Beaches

Gday fellow raiders

Wanted to take my young bloke out for a beach fish in the morning as a bit of a birthday treat and test out his new rod and reel.

Can any one sugest where im half a chance of getting him on to a fish say from monavale to palm beach?

Any one had any luck out that way latley?

mate you could always go a bit further south too nth narrabeen beach and if the beach doesnt work there are plenty of landbased spots in the lake where he is almost gauranteed to catch a fish. if the gutters on the beach dont work try the lake around the caravan park area or the channel between the island theres always some bream there.

went beach fishing last saturday at the pines nth narra.went with 2 mates who dont fish that often but were keen.got there bout 2.30pm fished till bout 7.30 for 4 sambos & 1/2 dozen small flatties.Used live worms 4 the flatties & brined pillies 4 the sambos.Get there thi saturday night cant miss.Good luck.
