Jewhunter
G'day all. Had a quick flick with a mate betwwen 4.15 & 5.15pm yesterday shorebased @ H.C bay. Mate was first on the board with a 25cm Tailor. Pretty quiet there so the move was made. He scores again with a nice 45cm Flattie. I get the next three, 30cm & 40 cm Flatties & a fat 32cm Bream. Missed a few as well. The rain has stirred things up. I'll probably have another crack tonight. Forgot the bloody camera which was a shame 'cause they would've been awesome pics with the lighting & cloud formations reflecting off the water! Cheers, Grant. mottyman
Hey Grant, Thanks for the report. I was counting on the rain stirring things up a little and have a planed for a fish tomorrow morning. Plan to fish the Parra in the tinnie from Concord up to H&C Bay, Henley Etc etc early tomorrow morning. I love an early morning Parra solo session!! I'll be on the water before sunrise and fish the run out tide (high at 6:10am). Cheers David.
Guest madsmc
That's not a bad result for an hours effort Grant. What sort of fight did the flatties put up? I imagine they'd be pretty sluggish now that the water is cooling. Shane

Shane Mate I was suprised at how well all the fish fought. It was very shallow water but the lizards still put on a great show.

I've been scoring some shallow water flatties in BB lately. Great sport on light gear. Well done, Jewhunter - don't you like it when everything just works? Flattieman.
