The hatches on the 2003 2004 Hornets are now made from alloy sandwich this was done because of 100s of complaints I SAW 5 HORNETS at the Boss which all had stuffed hatches Ken if I was in your position I WOULD DEMAND alloy replacement not ply this is Quintrex problem not yours alloy is the only answer to fix your and evey one else problem.A little bird told me they had a bad batch of ply I have a 2003 445 as soon as I got it home I striped the deck of pissed off all the cheap hinges packed and re leaveled the deck it had 7 different leavels this took 6 hours to do propley Typical Australian workmanship no pride and the company could not care a shit when I complained .they told me just bring it back on its first service i asked why would I take it back to them WHEN IT HAD 11 MISSED faults like speedo up side down ect and charged pre delivery .Can't wait till SABARU make a boat I will be the first to place a order . You can up grade all the decks and floor to alloy for mega $$$$$ when u order that is if the dealer knows his product not likley Loz
