Guest rzep
I have figured that it is time to have a bit of work done on my boat and I would appreciate some help/input. First off I want a new canopy made, I will get a local guy to make one for me but I would appreciate any suggestions for syle and praticality. Second I would be considering a rocket launcher and would like to hear pro's and con's in regards to these. The main bit of work that I would like done is a re-design of the rear transom part of the boat. I will post a pic of the current design. As you can see it has a very low back on it and this is a concern to my so I would like to have this area re-designed to raise it all up and to incorporate a live bait tank in this section and to have 1 long bench seat at the rear rather than 2 small seats. Now this is where my major dilema is as I have no idea as to who I should goto to get this sort of work done and I was hoping that someone would be able to point me in the right direction. Any advice that could be offered would be good. Regards Paul.

pjbink
I'm not a big fan of rocket launchers. My boat actually has one but only the net ends up there. The problem is that on a rough day (more common than not off Sydney) your reels are continually drenched in driven spray. If have better things to do than continually pully my reels apart and fixing the saltwater damage! You can usually find a way of storing your rods inside the boat where they are better protected. tiger_shark
You can add a transom mount (see pic) and incororate the bait tank in the space inbetween the back seats...it doesn't allow you to put in 1 long bench seat though...i think you'll lose too much room if you put a bench in anyway...
