mick309
Can anyone tell me if it matters if your leader is smaller than your mainline? I have some 6lb leader but my reel has 10lb braid on it, can i use it or do i need to downsize my mainline to fish that light?
slim
it doesnt matter at all mate, people regularly use smaller leaders use blackfishing as an example, and in clear water i regularly downsize my leaders to stop fish spooking so easy. hawkeye
As Slim says you can put on a lighter leader for bream or other timid fish although you might gain some extra casting distance with light lures if you got the lighter braid Hawkeye
