Shimano Nexave 1000 Fa Reel

Hey guyz im new 2 this website and i am gre8ful 2 be apart of it!!!

just a question im looking at getting a Shimano Nexave Reel as mentioned above

i would like 2 use it 4 all me sp and hb fishing needs spooled with 4lb fireline!!!

what do u think about it ive got the berkely dropshot rod 2 match it up just want 2 know if this reel is worth getting!!!

has any1 got 1 of these reel wat do they feel like are they nice and smooth and not flimsy

I got one given me as a gift and it's a nice little reel. Very smooth and the 1000 size is very compact and light - great for finesse fishing. As mine was a gift, I have no idea how much it cost, so can't really compare it to anything else in the Shimano line. It certainly feels as smooth as an Ultegra I own (Japanese Stradic). One thing I did notice was it doesn't have a huge amount of drag power (single washer), but you'd expect that in a 1000 reel and with 4 lb Fireline, you wouldn't be fishing a very tight drag anyway.
