numbnuts
took the boat out to blow the cobwebs off it.decided to anchor on the edge of yhe hole near the old pylon. We had our pillies on the bottom for only about 5minutes before the first Tailor hit , a nice one just under a kilo.Landed 7 around the same size by dark, then we slabbed a few up for a shot at something bigger. As the current picked up the speedmaster ratchet let out a familiar scream that I haven't heard for a while, a couple of minutes later a nice little jewie hit the icebox around 4kg.Things went quiet for about 20 minutes before 3 rods all went off at once, 2 stayed hooked (3.5kg & 5kg) the other one was much bigger , it couldn't be stopped on my 24kg punishing stik on the run towards the mooring chains. But in the end we couldn't be too disapointed it was a good early season session, can't wait for my next RDO. Flattieman
Fantastic session there, numbnuts. That's a great day! Nice tailor, nice jewies... if you added flatties in, you would've had a trifecta! Flattieman.

femalefisho
Well done Mate Bloody awesome session - fish are definately going to be hungry after the terrible weather we have had. I now live close to the Parra river and will begin to fish it - I have trid under the Gladesville bridge without much result - Is the hole on the Northern Side? or on the Southern Side (Five Dock side) and were you fishing the run up or out? femalefisho
the southern side of the bridge around the old pylons. Hi there Just spent the run out around Gladesville - Did no good - tried everywher around the bridge. Nothing - Even tried 4 other holes down river for nothing. Had good bait too. This is one place I just cannot seem to get a jew in - I have caught heaps around here of the land butnone on my boat (5th time attaempt) - very frustrated - sounded the old pilons on the bottom on the southern side - fished in front and behind them. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it - y the way Thanks James
